More about Pack 1163

About Us

Cub Scout Pack 1163 is made up of youth in grades first through fifth mostly attending Heritage Elementary school in Highland Village, Texas.  The pack is actively involved in community activities including such events as Scouting for Food to help local food banks, Kids Café to help local kids collect items for education, and Keep Lewisville Beautiful trash pick up day.  The scouts participate in many den activities that teach them science, growth, interpersonal, physical, and artistic skills.

Monthly, the dens gather as a pack and are awarded for their achievements.  The scouts also perform skits in front of the group entertaining all those in attendance.  The pack gathers for traditional scouting events like family campouts, pinewood derby, chili cook off, cake auction, picnics, rocket launches, bike rallies, summer camps, and more.

Joining the pack: The Cub Pack sign up rallies are held during the Spring and at the end of Summer each year, but youth may join or transfer to the pack at any time.

We hope to see you at a cub scout event soon.  For more information contact:

Scouting is Fun

Scouting combines fun with activities to build lifelong values. Scouting aims to assist parents in helping their kids strengthen their character, develop good citizenship, and enhance both their mental and physical fitness. Your family will be working with other families to meet these same goals.

During the month, smaller “dens”, comprised of 6-8 youth, meet separately. These dens are organized according to age starting in Kindergarden: Lions, Tiger, Wolves, Bears, Webelos and Arrow of Light. Den meetings focus on doing age specific activities and earning advancement and awards through field trips, hands-on projects, etc. We really have a great time, and we hope you’ll join us.
